Spray Live Technologies runs Spray. This page explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

What we collect

• Creators: name, username, email, a hashed password (we can't read it), payout bank details, and your sprays and settings.
• Fans: the display name and message you type, the amount, and the name on your bank account when you pay by transfer.
• BVN or NIN: passed straight to Monnify to create a creator's account number. Spray does not store it.
• Card details: handled only by Monnify. Spray never sees or stores card numbers.
• Bank transfers from fans: Monnify tells us the sender's account name. We show only a short version (first name and an initial) on stream. We keep a scrambled code of the sender's account number, never the number itself, so we can recognise returning fans and linked nicknames.
• Visits: we count how many people are on Spray using a random code stored in your browser. It doesn't contain your name, and we only keep the start of your IP address for security logs.
• Logins: when a creator logs in we note the time and device type (for example "Phone, Chrome") to protect the account.
• Creator profile: the photo, bio and social handles a creator adds, shown on their public Spray page.

What is shown publicly

Only a fan's chosen display name (or "Anonymous"), the amount and the message appear on stream and on the creator's Spray page. Emails and bank details are never shown publicly.

Who we share data with

• Monnify (Moniepoint), to process payments and pay creators.
• Our hosting and database providers, who store data for us under contract.
• Authorities, only where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep payment records for as long as financial laws require. You can ask us to delete your account and the rest of your data at any time.
